On April 12th, 2022, 5:30 PM, Annville Police were dispatched to the intersection of Louser & Mount Pleasant Roads in South Annville Township for a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. The investigation determined a Fire Police Officer was directing traffic at the intersection when a vehicle traveling north on Mount Pleasant Road was directed by that Officer to turn left onto Louser Road. That vehicle's driver's side mirror, while attempting to turn left, struck the Fire Police Officer causing minor injuries. The driver of the vehicle was cited for a summary traffic offense.
