On March 9th, 2022, 6:50 AM, Annville Police responded to a report of a single vehicle injury accident with a car into a tree in the 400 block of South Spruce Street. The investigation showed that a vehicle traveling southbound attempting to negotiate a curve when it’s brakes failed causing the car to go off the roadway into a yard of a home and impact with several bushes prior to crashing head-on into a tree. The driver of the car, a 23 year old Annville Township man, received moderate injuries to his head and face after impacting the front windshield due to him not wearing a seat belt. That driver was transported to the Hershey Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. The vehicle sustained severe front end damage and had to be towed from the crash scene.
