Beards For Brothers
The 2019 Beards for Brothers (BFB) Campaign has officially begun! In it's sixth year, the Chiefs of Police have once again waived their department's facial hair policies through the month of November, allowing their officers to grow beards to show support for one of their own who is battling cancer. This years recipient will be retired Police Sergeant Harold E. Gainer Jr., who is battling a rare form of blood cancer, and requires weekly treatments. Also, a percentage of the money raised will go to A Week Away, a non-profit organization that helps provide a respite week for families battling life-threatening illness. To learn more about BFB or to donate, please visit the GoFundMe page or send checks to East Hempfield Twp. 1700 Nissley Rd Landisville, PA 17538 or West Hempfield Twp. 3476 Marietta Ave, Lancaster, PA 17601, made payable to Beards for Brothers. No donation is too small! Please consider supporting the ones who keep us safe, and help us make our campaign goal of $10,000!
