THEFT OF HOLIDAY PACKAGES

Annville Township Police wants to warn residents about delivered packages left on house porches.  With the holiday season upon us there are unscrupulous people who will steal the packages from resident’s porches. 

PA State Police, Jonestown, reported A package containing more than $3,000 worth of medical supplies was stolen off the porch of a Swatara Township residence.  The package containing $3,295 in essential medical supplies was stolen off the front porch of a Washington Avenue residence after it was dropped off by FedEx between 2:48 and 3:15 p.m. Nov. 7.

A blue work van was observed in the area in the days following the theft, and none of the neighbors recognized the van or its occupants, according to state police. (Lebanon Daily News)
