On January 11, 2023, Palmyra Police conducted a traffic stop in the 800 block of East Main Street on a vehicle being operated by Janette Raspatello. During the course of the stop it was determined that Raspatello was under the influence of a controlled substance. Raspatello was also in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. On February 27, 2023 charges were filed on Raspatello for DUI Incapable of Safe Driving, DUI Controlled Substance, DUI Metabolite of a Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Disregarding a Single Traffic Lane.
