On 11/05/2022 at approximately 1606 hours, Palmyra Police attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a vehicle that failed to yield. When the vehicle finally came a stop, all 3 occupants began fleeing on foot. Upon further investigation the driver was identified as Brandon Martinez. A large amount of marijuana, cocaine, and several items related to drug paraphernalia were seized from Brandon's possessions.

On 03/16/2023 an arrest warrant was issued by MDJ Garver's Office for Brandon Martinez and he was taken into custody shortly afterwards for the following charges; Fleeing or Attempting to Elude Police Officer (F3), Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance (F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (M), Evading Arrest or Detention on Foot (M2) Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M), Possession of Small Amount of Marijuana (M), Recklessly Endangering Another Person (M2), Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended, DUI Related (S) and additional traffic violations.
