On Saturday, October 18, 2025, a Chicken BBQ Fundraiser is being organized by the Derry Township Police Department and friends.  One of their own, Detective Rian Bell, a 17 year veteran of the Department, was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon Cancer.  He will be undergoing constant treatment in Philadelphia over the next six months.  Funds raised will go towards assisting his family with meals, lodging and transportation. 

     The fundraiser will be held in the parking lot of the Derry Township Police Department, 620 Clearwater Road, Hershey, PA 17033.  The event runs from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
