This investigation originated after PSP-Jonestown received a Childline Referral in November of 2024. The referral alleged the accused, Kevin Charles MARTIN, engaged in inappropriate sexual contact with juvenile victim 1 dating back to 2016. Juvenile victim 1 and juvenile victim 2 both participated in separate forensic interviews. During said interviews, both juveniles detailed incidents of inappropriate sexual contact.
After further investigation and collaboration with the Lebanon County District Attorney’s Office, criminal charges were filed on 02/05/2025. On 03/06/2025, MARTIN waived his right to a Preliminary Hearing and all charges were bound over to Common Pleas Court. At this time, MARTIN remains incarcerated at Lancaster County Prison.
"Instances of child abuse are heartbreaking. I want to commend the work of the Pennsylvania State Police, especially Trooper Ralph Vance for his efforts to seek justice in this case," said District Attorney Pier Hess Graf.
