This morning, we had a special visit from L-Pree Laurel and his grandmother Sonya Ortiz, as they shared their encounter with one of our officers. 

We want to recognize one of our own for going above and beyond the badge. Officer St. Clair responded to a call involving animal neglect.  The nature of the complaint caused L-Pree to become distraught and worried about the well-being of his neighbor's animal.  After ensuring the animal was safe and would receive the proper care, Officer St. Clair noticed L-Pree was shaken up by the incident.  Ptlm StClair cleared the call but later returned with a few gifts to ensure L-Pree would have a better day.

Officer StClair exemplifies what it means to be a Lebanon City Police Officer.  This wasn’t done for recognition, but a selfless act of service. Acts like these remind us of what true service means…caring, protecting and stepping up when no one is watching.
