There have been recent reports of people receiving text messages from the Pennsylvania Department of Motor Vehicles for failure to pay outstanding traffic tickets.  The text messages are part of a scam.  They often contain a link to click for payment in an effort to obtain your personal information to include your banking information.  To avoid being the victim of a fraud or identity theft DO NOT respond to text or click on the link for payment contained in the text message.
